Hitachi Denshi targets expanded use of CCTV systems

Hitachi Denshi Ltd of Japan, whose closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems is primarily utilized for industry and security purposes, intends to expand its market to include medical, TV conferencing and semiconductor making applications. The company said that the devices, which accounts for about 30% of its revenues, is being improved to be an intelligent system. Hitachi plans to develop a CCTV systems that will combine both images and communication.

Sales of systems anchor hitachi denshi securely in CCTV business

According to company officer Toshirou Takeuchi, Hitachi will prepare different systems to address the diverse market needs of users for CCTV cameras.
