LG Semicon wins 2 contracts for TFT LCDs
Article Abstract:
LG Semicon Company Ltd of Seoul, South Korea, has won contracts to supply thin-film transistor liquid crystal displays (LCDs) to an American company and Dutch firm between 1999 and 2001. The $120-million contract with Ocala, FL-based American Panel Corp is for the supply of LCDs that will work on an aircraft. The contract with Philips Gloeilampenfabrieken NV of the Netherlands is worth $700 million.
