Matsushita's high-tech electronic home offers glimpse of future
Article Abstract:
Matsushita Electric Industrial Co Ltd has opened a test facility in Tokyo's Shinegawa district to showcase its latest innovations in home information infrastructure (HII) system. The facility called the Warp Square HII House was designed to accomodate the projected lifestyles ad information environment of 2003. The 100-sq-m floorspace has been wired for a digital network and contains various network appliances including a 50-inch plasma display panel, electronic health monitoring equipment and a water resources management system.
