Telephone manufacturers are expanding their lines of corded phones, which have forty per cent of the market. Some cordless specialists, such as Uniden, Phonemate and Samhill are adding corded telephone product lines. Two-line models are selling very well and many new models should appear on the market.

Cordless Makers Making Security Market More Secure

Despite an uncertain future, manufacturers of cordless phones are introducing a large number of new models. Several companies are introducing smaller phones but the big innovations are in security measures. Most companies have 46-49 mHz models ready for release pending the FCC decision.
