Nichicon develops 6 management strategies for 21st century

Nichicon Corp has developed six management strategies that it will follow to achieve its goals in the 21st century. The company will target improvements in is management system and corporate structure using the concrete measures. The activities under the mid-range management plan will stretch through Mar 2004. Nichicon will strive to secure a dominant position in the market for electrolytic capacitors. It will also cultivate new markets for solid organic polymer aluminum electrolytic capacitors.

Nichicon meets growing demand by building new factories, lines
Article Abstract:
Nichicon Corp of Japan has launched a massive expansion of its production capacity by building new factories and expanding existing facilities. The company invested total of 11.5 billion yen on two new factories in Omachi and Tomita to raise in-house production of electrode foils for aluminum electrolytic capacitors, which account for 60% of its total sales.
