Polaroid's Gaffney: Penetrating CE Dealer Network No Easy Task
Article Abstract:
Polaroid has not been very successful in introducing its line of videotapes to consumer electronics dealers. Sales of the tapes have been good in Europe and through photo stores and mass merchants. Polaroid has to establish itself as a supplier of quality tape. Polaroid is studying the possiblity of manufacturing it own tape. The company will succeed in the market as a result of its extensive avenues of distribution. Polaroid entered the market because it believes that the photography and tape markets are merging.
