SL-CT780, SL-CT540 CD players

Matsushita Electric Industrial Company Ltd has unveiled the SL-CT780 and the SL-CT540 portable CD player models that feature technologies to prevent skipping and other problems cause by sudden movements. The CT780 is powered by two internal nickel-metal hydride batteries and two external AA alkaline batteries for up to 85 hours of continuous play. On the other hand, the CT540 is powered by rechargable nickel-cadmium batteries and two external AA alkaline batteries for up to 50 hours of continuous play.

Sony develops DVD-Video players meeting needs of diverse users
Article Abstract:
Sony Corp has introduced its latest lines of DVD-Video players. The DVD- S7700 features a video D/A converter that processes data recorded with 8 bits and 13.5MHx in 10 bits and 27 MHz, and audio D/A converter that accomodates 96KHz and 14 bits. The company has also launched the TA- E9000ES digital A/V preamplifier, the TA-N9000ES five-channel A/V power amplifier, the PBD-V30 portable DVD player and the MDR-DS5000 digital Surround headphone system.
