TSS-1 home theater sound system

Yamaha Corp has introduced its TSS-1 Cinema Station Mini home theater sound system that allows listeners to enjoy 5.1-channel digital theater sound in small areas, such as in a private room. The product consists of five palm-size speakers, a small superwoofer and a dedicated amplifier. It features a decoder for Digital Theater System, Dolby Digital and Dolby Prologic sound that enables the reproduction of Surround effects from rented videos. The TSS-1 Cinema Station sells for $299.

LS10DV, LS10 home theater systems
Article Abstract:
Pioneer Corp has introduced the LS10DV theater system consisting of two front speakers, a rack incorporating an audio-video (A/V) controller and a center speaker, an A/V amplifier and a DVD player. The A/V amplifier is compatible with 5.1-channel Surround audio of broadcast satellite digital broadcasting. It is used in combinatin with the optional SH-DT1 broadcast satellite tuner. The equipment costs $10,345.
