Toshiba reshapes strategies for digital broadcast trends

Toshiba Corp's general manager for its Advanced Imaging Technology Division (AITD), Kensuke Adachi, stressed the company concentrates on the UK and US markets for digital and flat CRT TVs. The company will manufacture 71-in and 65-in projection TVs featuring digital tuner circuits. AITD's coverage include marketing of CCD cameras, InterText Vision tuners, communications satellite tuners and digital still cameras.

Aiwa's CM-TS55, CM-TM53, CM-DS5 microphones

Aiwa Company Ltd has expanded its microphone line with the introduction of three microphones for business use. The debuting microphones include two compact tie-in microphone models, CM-TS55 and CM-TS53, and a compact, highly-sensitive one-point stereo microphone, CM-DS5. All three models are capable of connecting to portable MiniDisc recorders or cassettes. They retail for $46, $35 and $56, respectively.
