Toshiba's digital TV broadcast lineup based on MPEG-2 technologies

Toshiba will introduce the MPEG-2 Studio System at the NAB '99 annual trade show. The MPEG-2 Studio System is an economical solution for hybrid analog and digital broadcasting operations in various video formats. The company will also display at NAB '99 the TS Splicer, which enables the seamless switching of MPEG-2 transport stream signals from two inputs. This allows broadcast stations to switch MPEG-2 contents, enabling the economical construction of transmission systems in various fields.
