Better graphic software tool improves company's international communications
Article Abstract:
Honeywell's use of a new software graphics tool has helped improve the company's internal communications. The software has allowed Honeywell personnel to better communicate and coordinate and also gave its engineers a head start on outlining the specification of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) control systems.Honeywell is using the new software as a custom sales-force automation solution, combined with an engineering solution for the creation of controller installation and configuration data. Costs was cut by 15%, because implementing the applications allowed Honeywell to downsize by 15%.

Article Abstract:
The air-conditioning industry sees improvement with maximum use of direct-digital temperature-control technology. The integrated control system can set up intelligent morning warm-up sequences that ensures the low-cost operation of air-conditioning systems. The direct-digital control, which is not applicable with discrete-component pneumatic and electronic discrete-control systems, allows the integration of subsystems that functions to improve efficiency of the air-conditioning system operation.
