Creating robust work processes
Article Abstract:
Work and manufacturing processes should be improved if product and service quality is to be improved. Efficiency and effectiveness are not enough to improve work and manufacturing processes. Processes must also be robust, which is reflected by their flexibility, operability and accuracy. Robust processes are not easily affected by internal and external uncontrollable changes and easily adapt to customer needs. Guidelines on how to achieve and maintain robustness are included.
