Digital TV trial brews in China
Article Abstract:
Qingdao, the coastal town in north eastern China, is taking part in a government initiative to transform 6,00,000 of its homes to digital cable television, putting an end to analog transmission. This project of the Chinese government, which aims to digitalize all television transmission by 2008 Beijing Olympics, is reported.
