Revlon Inc. wanted to systematically spread among its employees their responsibility at maintaining quality. The Corporate Quality Task Force was formed to point out factors affecting product quality. It developed action plans and assigned responsibilities. The Average Outgoing Quality task force studied quality performance and defect rates.
