Energy analyzer is multifunctional
Article Abstract:
Dranetz Technologies Inc's portable 8000 Network Analyzer allows simultaneous monitoring of voltage and current channels. It performs real-time measurements of parameters like displacement power, total voltage harmonic distortion and transformer derating among others, and harmonic analysis for all voltage channels. The unit also has several other functions, the reports of which can be stored and sent to either its internal historical memory, flat panel display, thermal printer or modem ports.

Analyzer functions as arbitrary waveform generator
Article Abstract:
Tektronix Inc's 2642A Fourier Analyzer combines arbitrary wave-form generation functions with analyses of time-domain waveforms, spectra and electrical networks. The system is equipped with a frequency range of 200 khz and two to four input channels. It can handle in excess of 90 decibels input dynamic range and up to 150 decibels for network measurements. It also has a 90-decibel-spectral purity signal generator that allows programming to suit the user's needs.

Analyzer troubleshoots electrical problems
Article Abstract:
Dranetz Technologies Inc's model 658 Power Quality Analyzer is a digital oscilloscope capable of electrical troubleshooting. All electrical problems detected by the unit are converted to digital signals and stored for convenient retrieval and analysis at a later time. The unit weighs 24 lbs, has a 5-inch flat menu-driven panel screen, 3.5-inch disk drive and built-in printer. Functions as voltmeter, ammeter, power disturbance monitor and oscilloscope.
