Enhanced quality tools: making improvements visible in complex organizations
Article Abstract:
Those investing in systems improvement require supporting evidence for planned improvements in order to assess funding priorities. There is also a need for quality managers and investors to assess the progress of ongoing projects. In both cases, enhanced visibility tools can play a valuable role. Latest software developments make three forms of tools more worthwhile. These are team management software, object-based simulation software for process modelling and snapshot charts. Enhanced visibility tools can provide value for all departments in a complex organization, not merely assembly.
