Servo performance at proportional prices
Article Abstract:
Parker's DF Plus is a proportional valve that uses voice coil technology to achieve a response curve up to 400 hertz and its price is pegged much lower than conventional servo valves. The valve has a spool that is directly coupled to a coil, which is able to move back and forth outside a cylindrical permanent magnet.

Colors take a shine to coated steels
Article Abstract:
Some novel, wear resistant coatings for steel strip that are likely to be of interest to a wide range of product designers are presented. Furthermore, these coatings could have either one layer or two layers where the inside and outside could have different color strips.
