Article Abstract:
The Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts provides students and researchers with an opportunity to work with multimedia computers and data networks. The result has been innovative artworks that demonstrate how technology can be fitted to human needs. Photos of works by the following artists are presented: Daniel Rozin; Greg Shakar, Maya Gorton, and Vardit Gross; Jame Tu; Greg Shakar, Tracy Gross, and Katherine Moriwaki; Jen Lewin; and Jonah Brucker-Cohen.

XCP copy protection software used my Sony BMG Music Entertainment received a tough time from software field experts. The program overrides some functions of the operating system and makes it more prone cyber attacks. Many lawsuits have been filed against the company for alleged violation of various states' anti-spyware laws and regulations.
