Make the most of sponsorship
Article Abstract:
Electrical contractors should take several factors into consideration when deciding whether to sponsor an event on a commercial basis. As well as having a clear idea of what they aim to gain from their sponsorship, potential sponsors must choose a programme that is not only suited to their market, but fits in with their business style. A vital ingredient in successful sponsorship is choosing the right activity to sponsor. Creativity is also very important. While sponsors should control spending carefully, they should expect to spend as much on support activities as on the sponsorship itself.

The Electrical Contractor's Association is to re-launch its Homeplan marketing scheme which includes a guide to possible electrical improvements in each room of the home.
