Encoder offers high speed and accuracy
Article Abstract:
A miniature magnetic rotary encoder that does not need seals or bearings and offers high speed and accuracy is developed. The encoder uses a flexible linear scale around a stainless ring and has the scale grating marked directly onto its periphery, which eliminates signal loss and enables higher speeds.
