Peter Senge's ideas live on via the Learning-Org
Article Abstract:
The host and moderator of Learning-Org, Richard Karash, thinks that the organization binds together professionals and academics working in the field of learning organizations through the Internet. Peter Senge invented the term Learning Organization in his book 'The Fifth Discipline,' for a place where people at all levels are continually learning to perform better. Karash opines that the electronic media for Learning-Org lowers the costs and facilitates immediate correspondence. Karash wants to use more illustrations and graphics on the Web and discusses his role as a moderator.

How to improve Web-based quality searches
Article Abstract:
Six search engines, namely, Altavista, Excite, Hotbot, Infoseek, Lycos, and WebCrawler, were given focus with the aim of improving Web-based quality information searches. Topics such as quality, quality management, SPC, QS9000, auditing, and empowerment were used as examples to determine the number of hits these keywords yield on the search engines. Quality has the most number of hits in all search engines. Finding specific topics requires searches to be narrowed. Search syntaxes such as quotes, capitalization, plus sign, and minus sign can provide help in this aspect.
