'QP' goes to school

As part of classroom activities for the students at the Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning in Brampton, Ontario, both current and old issues of the Quality Progress (QP) were used. Apart from familiarizing the students with the quality fundamentals, such activities bettered their writing skills too.

System integration, a concept of integrating individual pieces to create a whole, is discussed. The pieces which are selected to become part of the system will not loose their individual status. Six Sigma is taken as an example to explain the concept.
