Qualicrats and hypocrites: a troubling status report from the front
Article Abstract:
A survey of senior managers of a quality organization reveals the hypocritical approach of qualicrats and some disturbing patterns in the effectiveness of quality efforts. The responses are in sharp contrast to the professed active quality efforts. There is a lack of measurable results, shared knowledge and appropriate ways of evaluating progress. A lack of consensus on quality improvement workforce, low level of contribution toward quality progress, inappropriate training programs and inadequate utilization of employees' talents are some other disturbing results.
