Quick Response supply chain alliances in the Australian textiles, clothing and footwear industry
Article Abstract:
Workshop processes were utilized by the Australian government to implement its quick response program in the textiles, clothing and footwear industry. Such processes, which include workshop meetings, played a vital role in the establishment of a climate that promotes efficient customer-focussed product movement. In the case of workshop meetings, discussion of selfish wish lists by supply chain partners has led to the establishment of common quick response goals and open communication.
