Article Abstract:
QFD-L, an unmoderated Internet mailing list, is a forum for discussing quality function deployment (QFD). It seeks to provide the users with fast communication with the QFD world, 24-hours availability, and access to experts. General information on the discussion list, access methodology, topical contents of the discussions, guidelines for posting messages to the list, and advice on copyright aspects are provided. An interview with Glenn Mazur, executive director of the organization coordinating the list, is presented.

On-line quality courses offer many side benefits
Article Abstract:
Quality education via the Internet offers a high degree of flexibility. Students can work whenever it suits them and from any location, as long as they have access to a computer and the Internet. Web-based programs are extremely interactive, with students working in teams to address genuine problems. Internet-based quality courses include the Master of Science in Quality Assurance offered by California State University at Dominguez Hills and the Quality and Systems Management Program offered by Aurora University.

List relays large quantity of QUALITY messages

The QUALITY list is an electronic mail discussion list on the Internet that focuses on the use of total quality management in both manufacturing and service industries. Discussions are principally on quality systems, standards and the contents and results of research studies on quality. This Internet site started in 1993 and has so far recruited subscribers from 43 countries. Procedures for subscription are presented.
