Samsung's plasma displays barred from Japanese market: Fujitsu and Samsung will slug it out in court
Article Abstract:
Fujitsu Ltd. of Japan sought an administrative injunction against plasma display panels manufactured by South Korea's Samsung SDI Co., alleging that Samsung was infringing on its patents and the same has resulted in a temporary ban on its products. Consequently, Samsung has filed a lawsuit in Tokyo district court seeking to nullify Fujitsu claim and requesting that Japan's patent office should do the same.

Fujitsu unveils new type of plasma display
Article Abstract:
The development of a new type of plasma-tube display suitable for indoor commercial spaces and far larger than any current display type by the Tokyo-based company, Fujitsu is presented. The working process of this new plasma-tube display technology, currently being tested for reliability and lifetime luminance is also described.
