OneChem Ltd, a developer of software that helps manage transactions between buyers and sellers, has expressed its support for the creation of extensible markup language (XML) standards in the online chemical marketplace. The Ridgefield, CT-based firm joins Envera, a member-driven service focused on Web-enabled transactions and related supply-chain services for the chemical process industries, and major operating companies including BASF, Dow and Dupont, in supporting the initiative of the Chemical Industry Data eXchange to coordinate XML standardization efforts.

TSCA + SARA III databases on CD-ROM
Article Abstract:
Solutions Software releases the updated Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA) Chemical Inventory of more than 64,000 chemicals that are cross-referenced with SARA Titke III RCRA reporting requirements. The TSCA database contains information on all chemicals or chemical substances manufactured or imported into the US for commercial purposes as defined under the TSCA. It also features essential SARA III field integrated with the TSCA information and OSHA regulations.

Modbus Slave ActiveX Development Kit and Simulation Application

Automated Solutions has unveiled the Modbus Slave ActiveX suite that can be used in adding Modbus connectivity to PC-based instrumentation. The software comes with a preinstalled Visual Basic hardware simulation and source code. There is also a DeviceSim application that allows systems integrators, developers and users test Modbus Master hardware and applications. The software is also geared for the 32-bit development environment.
