A method is presented for uncovering many small opportunies of saving on costs of purchasing supplies at a chemical plant. The method analyzes the supply chain to determine overlaps and unneccessary work that are provided by contractors. A detailed explanation of the method is accompanied by generic examples and flowcharts that can be useful tools for improving business performance.

Preparing for GHG inventory verification
Article Abstract:
Advice for putting in place a greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventory system that could be verified more easily is presented. The concept of verification is limited to third-party verification of data already gathered by business houses that evaluates the accuracy of the inventory made and gives an opinion about its completeness.
