Transient recorder used in fastener tightening
Article Abstract:
Lawrence Technological University's Threaded Fastener Research Lab in Southfield, MI, uses the G.S.E. Inc-supplied portable process analyzer transient recorder that facilitates the laboratory's data collection process and allows a more comprehensive test results analysis. The lab also uses G.S.E. 's Model 845 portable microprocessor-based recorder equipped with strain-gage transducer signal-conditioning circuitry, an eight-color plotter, a hand-held terminal with alphanumeric keyboard and display, and two input channels to accommodate torque, torque/angle and force transducers.
