A conceptual framework for comparing species assemblages in native and exotic habitats
Article Abstract:
A graphical model is developed that could be used to explore how multiple taxonomic components respond to the changes due to the replacement of native species with exotic species. Such a conceptual framework helps to broaden the range of possible changes considered by ecologists who study the impacts of exotic species.

Determinants of lepidopteran community composition and species diversity in eastern deciduous forests: roles of season, eco-region and patch-size
Article Abstract:
It is well known that both local and regional factors influence the presence of a given species in an ecological community. Community composition appears to be more sensitive to environmental variation than species richness.
