A simpler, more general method of finding the optimal foraging strategy for Bayesian birds
Article Abstract:
A simple method of finding optimal strategies is illustrated for discrete time and systematic search. Oaten's stochastic model for optical foraging in patches is solved for a number of particular cases as a few cases such as Poisson prey distribution and either systematic or random search are easy to solve.

Can ungulates foraging in a multiple-use landscape alter forest nitrogen budgets?
Article Abstract:
The magnitude of nutrient transfer by foraging ungulates among ecosystems for the alteration of nutrient budgets and associated ecological process is investigated. A non-linear relationship exists between deer nitrogen deposition to forest and percent forest cover.

Importance of nutritional and anti-parasite strategies in the foraging decisions of horse: An experimental test
Article Abstract:
The roles of nutritional and anti-parasite factors in foraging decisions by horses are investigated. The horses selected uncontaminated swards when the nutritional benefits are identical, and tall swards in virtually all circumstances.
