Balanced dispersal or source-sink - do both models describe wood mice in farmed landscapes?
Article Abstract:
Parameters from capture-mark-recapture data in four habitats were estimated to test two models of how wood mouse Apodemus sylvaticus populations in different patches might interact. Patches close together were more likely to exchange individuals than those far apart and there was no evidence of density -dependent dispersal and little evidence for directionality of movement.

Dispersal limits natural recruitment of African mahoganies
Article Abstract:
Dispersal limitation strongly limits seedling established for the two species studied. Makana and Thomas present results from an experimental seed addition study of tree important African timber tree species, Entandrophragma utile Sprague and Khaya anthotheca.
