Density-dependent reproduction in the European rabbit: a consequence of individual response and age-dependent reproductive performance
Article Abstract:
The density-dependent reproduction in the European rabbits as a consequence of individual response and age-dependent reproductive performance is studied. It is concluded that interannual or density-dependent variations of mean reproductive rates could be caused due to the lower reproductive performance of first-season breeders in age-structured animal populations.

Plant-mediated effects of drought stress on host preference and performance of a grass miner
Article Abstract:
A laboratory experiment was conducted in which the influence of plant water stress on host preference and the performance of the grass miner Chromatomyia milii was studied. Finally the stress intensity measurements showed that plants acclimated to water stress conditions throughout the experiment.
