Is moral hazard good for the environment? Revenue insurance and chemical input use
Article Abstract:
The input use impact of the increasingly popular, and federally subsidized, risk management instrument of revenue insurance and the extent to which its effects on input use may differ from those of the older yield based instrument is measured. It is concluded that when the environmental indicators indicate a potential environmental fragility, the input use equation suggest that fertilizer expenditures decreases.

Simplified LCA and matrix methods in identifying the environmental aspects of a product system
Article Abstract:
The usefulness of life cycle assessment (LCA) and a matrix method for identifying the key environmental issues of a product system were examined. It was found that the simplified LCA (SLCA) and environmentally responsible product assessment (ERPA) methods provided different information but they complemented each other to some extent.
