Two ecologically-divergent generalist predators have different responses to landscape fragmentation
Article Abstract:
A series of field experiments were conducted to test the population response of two ecologically-divergent wolf spider species (Hogna helluo and Pardosa milvina) to correlates of land fragmentation. It was found that these two synoptic wolf species have distinctly different responses to landscape fragmentation.

Analyzing patterns of species diversity as departures from random expectations
Article Abstract:
Intraspecific aggregation is predicted to limit alpha-diversity to a level less than that expected based on random distributions of individuals. Additive diversity partitioning and a randomization routine are applied to 28 arthropod assemblages to test these predictions.
