Investing in Burgundy for pleasure and profit
Article Abstract:
US wine collectors did not begin to view wine as an investment until the 1980s, and although that boom is over, some wines will increase in value as they mature. Several Burgundy wines of the grand cru vineyards are discussed.

A guide to buying wine to lay down in a cellar is presented with emphasis on vintage port. Affordable port which will age well can be found if you buy young vintages from less well-known producers.

Vintage Port's loss is auction buyer's gain

Wine prices, particularly vintage Port prices, are down due to the recession. This affords buyers an excellent opportunity to pick up great Ports at relatively low prices.
