The 1991 vintage is excellent for Port, and it is the first declared vintage since 1985. The 1991s merit a 93 rating and should be held. The best 12 vintages since 1963 are listed, and the pre-release 1991s are evaluated, with tasting notes provided.

Taylor Port takes a look back after 300 years
Article Abstract:
Vintage Ports dating back to 1863 were tasted as part of Taylor's 300th anniversary celebration. More than 70 guests enjoyed the Ports, many of which were rated as excellent. Several of the Ports tasted are evaluated.
