The fear of opening old wines

Wine collectors sometimes hesitate to open old bottles for a variety of reasons, according to psychiatrists. The wine may not live up to expectations, or the owner fears a feeling of loss once the bottle is gone. Also, the owner's guest may not like the wine.

All wine collectors eventually encounter a bottle that has been allowed to age too long, turning the contents to vinegar. Some young collectors use computer programs that remind them when to consumer their wines. Tips on storing wine properly are given.
