Traverso, Wente make Bordeaux blends
Article Abstract:
Traverso and Wente have created a new winery called Murrieta's Well and will market Bordeaux-style red and whites wine under the proprietary name Vendimia. The wines will sell for $20 to $25 a bottle. Ingredients in both the red and white blends are given.

Seghesio goes upscale with old-vine reds

Seghesio, which has been making wine since the first part of the century, discovered 75-year-old grapes used to make traditional Chianti. The winery's vintners have created a Chianti-style wine that will sell for about $30.
