Home schooling: a teacher's own kitchen doubles as a classroom

Madelaine Bullwinkel's home kitchen in Hindsale, IL also serves as a cooking school. The Chez Madelaine Cooking School started out in a small kitchen in Bullwinkel's old Arts And Crafts house. The new Illinois home had a bigger kitchen that can accomodate more students. The school celebrated its 20th anniversary in 1997.

A Rocky Mountain Christmas

The Tjossem family of Vail, CO, enjoys celebrating Christmas with two other families they have known for many years. The parents have a fondue party while the children play in the snow. Recipes presented include Christmas glogg, and garlic-layered potatoes.
