New York pubs: the real McCoy
Article Abstract:
It is difficult to explain to the uninitiated just what an authentic New York City pub is like. Most are 40 years or older and there is a subtle but real code of behavior there. Eleven of the old style New York City pubs are described. They include Billy's at First Ave, and Fanelli's at Prince St.

Jurassic (on Central) Park

The American Museum of Natural History in New York, NY, restored the dinosaurs it has on display and renovated the exhibit halls for its 150th anniversary in 1996. The redone exhibits are more accurate than the old ones, which opened in 1927.
