Yosemite in winter: chefs' holidays at the Ahwahnee

Each winter in Yosemite, from mid-November through January, chefs and vintners gather at the Ahwahnee Hotel to conduct cooking classes. At this time of year, the food is superb and the scenery even better. The park is very crowded in the summer, but pristine in winter.
