The 74th Annual National Convention of the American Legion will be held on Aug 21 to 27, 1992 in Chicago, IL. The traditional parade, a festival at the Navy Pier on Lake Michigan, a classic car show, boat cruises and attractions for children will be among the highlights of the convention.

Pres George Bush and candidate Bill Clinton graced the opening of the 74th American Legion National Convention held in Chicago, IL, on Aug 25, 1992. Amidst the activities lined up for the event, Legionnaires raised almost $28,000 for victims of Hurricane Andrew in Florida and Louisiana.
