Are we to blame for history?

Canadian history, like that of many other nations, is replete with stories of injustice and prejudice. The demand for compensation of some groups who have been wronged in the past is not realistic. The best way to atone for past mistakes is to make sure they are not repeated.

In the city of Montreal the rule clearly states that if a dog does not possess a permit it must be kept for three working days and then given for adoption. Various cases where dogs were killed by their caretakers are listed.
