Minkkinen is known for his photographs of parts of his own nude body. He rarely allows his face to be seen in his photographs and focuses on unusual angles and poses. He photographs himself because he claims he cannot get anyone else to pose nude in the cold.

Article Abstract:
Norman Rockwell used the people of Stockbridge, MA as models for his paintings. A museum dedicated to his works recently opened there. Some of the models included Lynda Gunn, Dick Clemens, Ed Locke, Anne Braman, Irene Halsman and Rockwell's son Thomas.
