Article Abstract:
The jury system is the cornerstone of the US justice system, but it is being undermined by skillful manipulation of jury composition and incompetence and ignorance of the law on the part of jurors. Stephen Adler believes that banning attorneys' peremptory challenges is one way of reforming the system.
