Laboring for love
Article Abstract:
Midwife Shay Huffman has been practicing in a rural area of West Virginia for 18 years. She has helped over 200 women give birth at home despite state laws that forbid traditional midwifery. Entire families are often present at the birth and sometime Huffman brings her own children to witness the birth.
