My grandmother's peonies

Memories of a grandmother were resuscitated by the smell of peonies which had been the grandmother's favorite plants. She was able to indulge her horticultural inclinations by virtue of her great wealth. She considered herself a wandering soul who gracefully accepted death when it came.
