A woman describes her husband's desire to grow a vegetable garden, and how it finally came to pass once the family bought a house. Her husband died from cancer before being able to grow his favorite vegetable, broccoli, but a plant grew and she saved it in his memory.

A ski resort worker came across what he felt would be the perfect Christmas tree growing in nearby woods. He and a friend were just about to cut it down but decided that the tree was too perfect to cut, so they just sat for a while admiring it while the snow fell.
