The history of the New York underground punk culture is presented through the recollections of movement's major contributors. The punk culture hit its peak in the early 1970s and was influenced by such bands as the New York Dolls, the Sex Pistols, the Ramones, and Blondie.

Abnormalities of the brain and spinal column may develop in babies of mothers who frequent saunas and hot tubs during their first three months of pregnancy. Research results show that the heat from saunas may cause cell death and inhibit cell propagation in embryos.
